Alamo Gallery & Gifts is filled with works of over 40 local artists and artisans, ranging from watercolors to jewelry to woodwork and more created by members of our community. The gallery is also El Defensor Chieftain Readers’ Choice for best art gallery in the area.

Featuring stunning creations perfect for any occasion, the gallery is friendly for all ages to visit and get involved. The store offers a free art workshop co-sponsored by the City of Socorro.

Besides the beautiful works from the Alamo Chapter of the Navajo Nation like traditional and contemporary Navajo jewelry and handcrafted beadwork, customers can find metal art, glass bowls, plates and crosses, stained glass, pottery, fiber art, candles, art supplies, and De Grazia prints and Harrison Begay serigraphs. Even fresh flower arrangements. J.E. Smith Historical Photo Collection is also represented at Alamo Gallery & Gifts. The Friends of El Camino Real Historic Trail Gift Shop fills up one corner with a large selection of books, historical information, maps, and other New Mexico-related items.
