How did you get into golf?

My uncle and my grandpa. They threw me in when I was like 5 and I just liked it so I kept playing it from there.

What’s your favorite part of golf?

Just going out and seeing all the different courses.

Do you have a specific style of play or parts of the game that you excel at?

Probably my irons and chipping.

Of the three, golf, basketball and football, what’s your favorite?

Probably basketball. It’s just something that takes all the pressure off from life. Something I can go out and do every day.

How long have you been playing?

Six years.

What got you started?

It was this little league that my mom signed me up for. I just really liked it.

What are you most looking forward to in next year’s football season?

Just getting out there and playing again.

What’s it like to switch gears from golf to football?

It’s weird. Tiring.

What do you normally do to train for golf?

I just go out and play a couple of holes. I try to every day.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshmen?

Just stay with it. It’s a good thing to get into. It teaches you a lot of stuff.

What have you learned?

How to play with a team. I’ve had a lot of friendships too.

What is the best part of basketball?

The team. Everyone I play with is really fun and they make it really fun.

Is there anything you’re most looking forward to going into your sophomore year?

Just trying to make varsity for all my sports, because I play varsity basketball last year and that’s my goal this year.

What do you have to do to make that happen?

Just trying to work all summer.

Is there a part of your game you’re trying to work on specifically?

My shooting and just aggressiveness.
