Question: What is the most important part to be successful as a football player.

Answer: Work ethic. You have got to work hard in order to succeed. Practicing your craft is the most important thing.

Q: What is your favorite position to play?

A: Receiver. I’m really good at running routes and I love cooking DB’s for a big gain. It gets everyone excited.

Q: Do you play any other sports?

A: I compete in baseball and track after football is over.

Q: What is your least favorite part about playing football?

A: I’ve had a great time this season messing around with the guys. But, to be honest, putting on and taking off the equipment is a real pain.

Q: Of all of your opponents, who has the coolest jerseys?

A: I like Hope Christian’s jerseys. Their colors, green and gold and white, I like the way they look coming on the field.

Q: If you could change something about your game, what would it be?

A: Probably my size. I wish that I was bigger going on the field than I am right now.

Q: What would you tell younger football players coming up?

A: Be smart. Get enough sleep. Be willing to grind it out and most importantly hit the weight room.

Q: What has your experience been like with the Warriors as your final season comes to an end?

A: It has been great. We’ve been through a lot over these years. I would not be who I am without these guys. These are my brothers. I would do anything for these guys. Plus our coaches are like the coolest uncles you could have. They really get you.

Q: Is there anything you would take back playing football here?

A: Not playing my junior year for certain reasons I won’t talk about. That is definitely something I wish I could take back. Fortunately the passion brought me back to the game. I love football.

Q: Who is your favorite player in all of sports?

A: O’Dell Beckham Jr. That guy is just saucy and when you watch him play he just has it. He’s a great athlete that I really look up to.

Q: If you could have dinner with any famous person in history, who would it be?

A: John Lennon. I’m a huge fan of the Beatles. I love his music and I love his hippie phase. He was a soulful singer that I connect to.
