How long have you wrestled?

Eleven and a half years.

What got you into it?

My dad. He used to wrestle and that’s what got me into it.

What do you like most about it?

Probably the competition. It gives you something to, something to take your mind off of everything else.

Are there any moments over the last season that really stand out?

Inviting people into wrestling. Getting new people into wrestling and showing them another home per say.

Are there any other sports that you play?

I did try football my sophomore year and it was hit or miss. It was fun, but it just wasn’t my thing. I just did wrestling after that.

What is your favorite thing about wrestling?

Competition and probably your teammates. It almost feels like you have a second family to go to all the time.

Do you know what you’re going to do after you graduate?

I want to go to a trade school and become a lineman. That’s the plan.

Do you have any famous athletes you look up to?

I’ve always looked at Jordan Burroughs. He’s one of the best wrestlers. I look to him for guidance, I guess. All of his speeches and stuff, stuff like that.

What would you tell younger wrestlers coming up?

Don’t over do it. Enjoy yourself and just have fun with it. Don’t make it so serious, just have fun.

Is there anything you want to say to your team?

I’ve said everything to them. I love them. Thank you guys for everything. You guys are the best that I’m graduating with.
