Socorro

On Feb. 8, the Socorro Warriors boys team won 55 to 48 in a home game against the Hot Springs Tigers.

On Friday, Feb. 11, the boys won their away game against Hatch Valley, 71 to 21.

They were set to play Hot Springs Tuesday and their next game is Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. against Cobre in Bayard.

The girls varsity team won their home game against Hot Springs 52-28 on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

The Lady Warriors were set to play Hot Springs on Tuesday and their Hatch Valley game was rescheduled for Wednesday night. Their next game will be at home Friday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. against Cobre.

Magdalena

On Feb. 7, the Magdalena Steers boys varsity team won their away game against Hondo Valley, 74-27.

Their next game will be at home Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. against Mountainair.

The Lady Steers varsity team won against Hondo Valley, 54-6, on Feb. 7. They also took home a win against Corona, 71-26 on Feb. 8. The team faced Hondo Valley again Monday with a final score of 66-13, with the Lady Steers coming out ahead.

Their next game is at home on Thursday, Feb. 17, 5:30 p.m. against Mountainair.

Alamo

The Alamo Navajo boys varsity team won 54-31 on Feb. 7, against Mountainair. They lost in a tight game, 57-53 against Pine Hill on Feb. 9. They faced Hondo Valley, Feb. 12, and took home a win with a final score of 53-51. The Cougars won a home game against Mountainair, Feb. 14, 49-46.

The Cougars were set to face Carrizozo on Tuesday. Their next game will be at home on Thursday, Feb. 17 against Hondo Valley, 5:30 p.m.

The girls varsity team won against Mountainair, Feb. 7, 41-33. The Lady Cougars lost a home game against Pine Hill Feb. 9, 49-46. On Feb. 10, the girls won a home game against Corona, 58-38. This kicked off a three-game winning streak, followed by Hondo Valley on Feb. 12, final score 58-11, and Mountainair on Feb. 14, final score 36-31.

The Lady Cougars were set to play Carrizozo Tuesday. Their next game will be at home Thursday, Feb. 17 against Hondo Valley at 4 p.m. Then they will play an away game against Corona, Friday, Feb. 18 at noon.
