Bobby Lukesh

1941-2021

Bobby Lukesh, age 80, of Luis Lopez, New Mexico passed away on October 7, 2021.

Bobby was born to Bob Lukesh and Pauline Lopez on February 28, 1941, in Socorro, New Mexico. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lupe Lukesh; son, Bobby Gene Lukesh; father, Bob Lukesh; stepmother, (Jean); mother, Pauline Lopez, and brother, Clifford Lukesh.

Bobby is survived by his son, Carl Lukesh (Jeanette); daughter, Wanda Lukesh; grandchildren, Carl Lukesh, Anthony Lukesh (Tanya), Gilbert Santillanes (Danna), great-grandchildren, Joslyn Lukesh, Macy Lukesh, Justin, Jacob, Angelise, Nathaniel, Layla, Evert, Alisha, and Aaron; stepfather, Estanisaldo Lopez; brothers, Earl Lukesh (MaryAnn), and Shawn Lukesh (Debbie).

Bobby is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bobby enjoyed sports and going to watch his great-granddaughters play softball. He enjoyed going to the horse races with his brother, Earl and his nephews, Shane and Kenny. Bobby was known as the “Channel Patrol Pal,” and enjoyed his cruises around the valley. Bobby’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched.
