Donald Huebner

1942-2022

Donald was born January 20, 1942 in Kansas City Missouri to Fred and Ruby Huebner. The family moved to Socorro N.M. in 1948.

Don was a very good athlete who played first-string basketball at Socorro High School. He had the best hook shot ever, and pitched softball in Socorro, Albuquerque, and in the Navy.

He played first chair trombone in the Socorro High School band and in the dance band. He ran Hillcrest Grocery and Market in Socorro for about 10 years.

He is survived by his twin brother Ronald. We will have a celebration of life at the D.A.V hall at 1 p.m. on Dec. 11.
