1954-2022

Eileen Martinez, age 68, went to her heavenly home on August 29, 2022. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was born on August 21, 1954, to Marie and Tony Anaya. She was preceded by husband Justy Martinez, her parents Marie and Tony Anaya.

In February 1972, she married Justy Martinez and they enjoyed a loving relationship for 48 years.  She had four children, Rosalyn (Angel) Garcia, Geraldine Jones, Freddie “Moose” Martinez, and Pauleen “Pola” Martinez as well as 12 grandchildren, Jaenee Martinez, Jason Jones, Freddie Martinez, Jadrian Martinez, Angel Garica, Kailee Jones, Justice Garcia, Bianca Garcia, Justine Martinez, Jayleen Martinez, Justus Martinez, Jayda Martinez, as well as three great-grandchildren, Sydney Martinez, Leland Martinez, and Khaliaha Martinez.

Eileen enjoyed her working life as a waitress, you could find her at Hobo Joe’s or Denny’s running around taking care of her customers, working hard to earn her money to take care of her loving family.  She was a big fan and supporter of her husband while he played baseball, also the biggest fan and supporter of her son, Moose, while he played baseball. She was also a huge fan of her grandson’s Jarian and Angel. She loved and supported every child and grandchild. Eileen enjoyed every moment she could with her beloved husband, they both loved the casino, watching movies and visiting with family. Eileen will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren. The Martinez family would like to express their gratitude to the Dr’s., nurses from hospice for their support. We will keep her memory in our hearts and look forward to the day that we see her again.

A Rosary and Mass will be recited on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church with inurnment committal to follow at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery.
