The Lady Warriors and Warrior golf teams took first and second place at the Seery Invitational held at the New Mexico Tech golf course on April 10-11.

Paced by second-place finishers Natasha Apodaca and Ally Martinez, who fired two-day totals of 177, the Lady Warriors were well out in front of second-place St. Michael’s 748-883.

Socorro had five golfers in the top ten, with Tivonne Anaya finishing fourth (189), Ariana Crespin (5th 195), and Alex Crespin finishing 8th with a score of 214. Jenna Olney was in 12th place with a score of 225.

Luther Richardson fired the best scores for the Warriors, and his two-day total of 173 left him in 5th place overall. Isaiah Silva (8th 176) and Andrew Handrich (10th 187) also made it into the top ten.

The Warriors also got solid performances from Robinson Ford (14th 196) and Ian Gonzales(16th 198).

Silver City fired the day’s best team total, scoring 667 to Socorro’s 725.
