Notice is hereby given of the title and of a general summary of the subject matter contained in Ordinance No. 20-02-16 duly adopted and approved by the City Council of the City of Socorro, New Mexico, on March 1, 2021. A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection during the normal and regular business hours of the City Clerk, 111 School of Mines Road, NW, Socorro, New Mexico.

RELATING TO AN INTERIM FINANCING BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE/LOAN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOCORRO, NEW MEXICO AND THE RURAL COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE CORPORATION (“RCAC”) FOR A PROJECT TO ACQUIRE, EXTEND, ENLARGE, BETTER, REPAIR OR OTHERWISE IMPROVE THE CITY’S WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY; AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 19-08-05 ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2019 TO INCREASE THE APPROVED PAR AMOUNT OF THE BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE/LOAN AGREEMENT FOR AN INTERIM LOAN WITH RCAC TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,265,500; AND RATIFYING CERTAIN ACTIONS HERETOFORE TAKEN.
