Mackie Gonzales

Mackie Gonzales, 79, a resident of Luis Lopez, passed away, on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at the home of his daughter, Barbara and husband Marty, where he had lived for the past year.

Mackie loved his family and his life centered around them.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Angie Marquez Gonzales; parents, David and Juanita Gonzales; sisters, Lita Mendoza, and Gloria Silva. Mackie is survived by his loving daughters, Barbara and husband Marty Chavez, Joann and husband Joe Montoya; brothers, Richard (Barbara), Raymond (Debbie) Larry (Angela), Frankie (Darlene) and Johnny Joe (Tanya) sister, Sandra (Ernest); six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren and countless uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A rosary and Mass of Resurrection was recited on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro.

Burial took place at Luis Lopez Catholic Cemetery after the service. Pallbearers were Richard Romero, Joseph Montoya, Carlos Jaquez, Casey Yuen. Honorary pallbearers were Xavier Jaquez, Dylan Romero, Zen Yuen.
