Nov. 19, 1942 – Dec. 16, 2020
Maria Oralia Holguin entered into rest in her home in Socorro on Dec. 16, 2020. She was born on Nov. 19, 1942 to Martin and Clarita Lopez in Manzano.
She was the fifth child of twelve children. Oralia was a long-time resident of Socorro and loved to spend her time driving around with her granddaughter Shantal and her other grandkids, singing, dancing, taking care of her precious puppies, making delicious food with and for her kids, spending her evenings on video-chat with her latest grandchild, and going to the casino with her husband. She was kind, loving, caring, and cherished her husband and family, as well as her relationship with God.
She loved for her hair to be done by her grandchildren and would not go anywhere without making sure she had enough perfume on. Her laugh was contagious, and her heart was as pure as gold. She was very strong, and independent. Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
