Darth Vader and more than 10 Stormtroopers fired off confetti guns at the end of the graduation ceremonies at the Socorro Sport and Rodeo Complex.

On May 8, New Mexico Tech graduated over 220 members of the Class of 2021 and 2020 in-person at the Socorro Sport and Rodeo Complex.

The Class of 2021 had 446 total graduates – 330 earning their bachelor’s degree, 105 earning their master’s degree and 11 with Ph.D’s.

The Mechanical Egineering department has the most students graduating with 48.

There are 10 graduates who are alumni of Socorro High School and 88 percent of NMT’s 2021 class are from New Mexico.
