Socorro will be hosting No. 9 Cobre, a 35-22 winner over Dexter on Saturday, in a 7 p.m. game at home Friday, Nov. 11.

The 3A playoffs went much as expected, with No. 5 Thoreau topping No. 12 Hope 19-12.

No. 6 Raton posted an impressive 63-14 win over No. 11 Hatch Valley, as did No. 7 West Las Vegas with a 62-16 victory against No. 10 Newcomb.

The Socorro/Cobre rematch winner will advance to face either No. 4 St. Michaels or No. 5 Thoreau.

On the other side of the quarterfinal bracket, No. 3 Robertson faces No. 6 Raton, and No. 2. Ruidoso takes on No. 7 West Las Vegas.
