The New Mexico Finance Authority announced one week left to submit an application for the $200 million Business Recovery Grant Program.  The application submission process closes on December 7, 2021.  Created by the State of New Mexico, the Business Recovery Grant Program helps small business owners and nonprofit organizations throughout the state in need of financial assistance following the pandemic.  The grants are to be used for rent, lease or mortgage payments, providing financial flexibility for companies to rebuild their workforce.

“With only one week left, we encourage all New Mexico small businesses who might be eligible to apply for the grant before the December 7 deadline,” said Marquita Russel, NMFA’s Chief Executive Officer.  “The business recovery grant program was designed to provide relief to New Mexico businesses in need and we are hopeful that the funding will give much needed financial assistance to businesses throughout the state. If you’re not sure if you’re eligible, give us a call. We’ll help you determine if these grants can help your business.”
