Somebody forgot to tell Alamo Navajo that No. 12 teams aren’t supposed to challenge No. 6 teams at the state volleyball tournament, but that’s what the Lady Cougars did in taking Logan the distance in a 3-2 loss on Nov. 10.
There was no shame in losing a match that could have easily gone either way in a five-set match that was scored 23-25, 26-24, 16-25, 25-22, 11-15.

Alamo now moves to the consolation bracket and will face Ramah in a 11:30 a.m. match Friday morning.
