Poem: Haiku series

1)

Flame erupts from match,

Alchemy of sulphur, spark —

Soul casting shadow.

 

2)

Butterfly — molten,

Floating evanescent light.

I exclaim, “Ahh!  Oh!”

 

3)

Splinter of the moon,

Flying like a scimitar

Across star-splashed black.
