Randall Gene Jenkins

Randall Gene Jenkins passed from acute hypoxic respiratory failure, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, on December 11, 2021, at 5:16 p.m. in Christi St. Vincent hospital, Santa Fe, N.M.  He received a second bone marrow transplant on February 5, 2021, for MDS.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo S Goings; his mother, Billie M. Jenkins; his stepfather, Russell Jenkins; his grandmother, Mary Erlene Murphy Slaton; his grandfather, Bill Slaton; his aunt, Lavelle Pawl and his stepbrother Bud Goings.

He is survived by his aunt Doris Hite and his aunt Wanda Taylor; his brother, Jess Jenkins; his sister, Mary Catherine; stepchildren, Lisa, and Pattie; his sons, Russell and wife, Staci and Kevin Jenkins and wife, Judith; and many, many grandchildren, many cousins and many nephews and nieces.

He was a mechanic most of his life, he did road service, mining, owned several shops, worked in several dealerships across the country, but his true love was enjoying life and his family.

To be able to see life through his eyes was a blessing.
