The Socorro Seventh-day Adventist Church welcomes Pastor Ricardo Castro, his wife Miriam and their two young children to the community. Pastor Castro comes to Socorro from Andrew’s University in Michigan after completing his BA in Theology and his Masters of Divinity degree.

He was born in the state of California and felt called by God to become a minister.

Castro has a passion for visitation and for church growth by reaching out to the surrounding community with the Bible’s message of hope, love and eternal salvation through Jesus Christ. However, he is equally passionate about each member’s personal growth.

“The best thing about ministry is that I get to meet and greet so many people and help them with any physical or spiritual needs they might have. My passion is to love God and people and prepare them for the soon coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” said Castro. “ I would love to meet you and be at your service, community of Socorro.”

The Socorro Seventh-day Adventist Church meets at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
