I don’t know how most communities are conducting pest control now, but I hope, because of the coronavirus pandemic, they aren’t using any pesticides.  What do asthma, birth and fetal defects, brain cancer, breast cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, prostate cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, developmental and learning disorders, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and reproductive health effects all have in common? Numerous studies have linked all of these medical problems with exposure to pesticides.  Pesticides can also compromise your immune system to make you more susceptible to developing viruses, including coronavirus, which is in the process of destroying our country.

I was the IPM Technician for UNM from 1995 to 2006 when I retired.  I never used any toxic pesticides and the students, faculty and staff loved it. I was also IPM Manager for the City of Santa Fe and personally took care of over 80 city buildings and never used a drop of liquid pesticides and we never used Roundup on city property.  I have over 45 years of experience in the pesticide industry and know the hazards of toxic pesticides.

I am not a business, but any community can hire me as a temporary employee if they want. I will help any way I can, to help towns and villages via email or by phone as I live in Las Cruces.  I have several non-toxic pest management manuals I can send via email that any community can share with their associates and residents if they want, so they don’t expose themselves to pesticides at home or in a community building.  The manuals are:

“Earth Friendly Pest Management for Your Home and Garden and for Commercial Establishments.”  This handbook covers general pest control using non-toxic methods.

“Common Sense Pest Management for Commercial Establishments”. This handbook will help businesses control pests without exposing anyone to toxic pesticides.

“Termite Inspection and Control Manual for Realtors and Homeowners”.  This handbook helps everyone deal with termite inspections and termite control.

“Common Sense Vegetation “Weed” Management (Precautionary Principle Philosophy)” This handbook basically tells you how to control weeds without using Roundup or other toxic herbicides.

Please don’t let anyone be exposed to pesticides that can compromise their immune system and make them vulnerable to coronavirus.  My email address is [email protected] and my phone is 505-385-2820.  Please stay safe, as the world is a mess.
