Sylvia Turrietta Gamez

1959-2022

Sylvia Turrietta Gamez was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2022, surrounded by loving family.

Sylvia was born to Florencio and Ascencion Mary Turrietta on April 28, 1959.

Sylvia was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister. She was also an animal lover. She loved her two dogs Bella and Kloe. Her family and dogs brought an undeniable beautiful smile to her face.  Most of all the love she gave us can never be replaced. She will be missed greatly. She was our heart.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Kathy, Linda, and June. Her nieces Kristi and Jolene. Her nephews Junior and Devon.

She is survived by her daughter Josanne Gamez and her husband Rafael Pailo Gamez. Her sons Michael Turrietta and Albert Gutierrez and partner Patricia Cole. Her grandchildren were her world; Jennalyn Gamez, Rafael Gamez, Jr., Monique Turrietta, Michael Turrietta Jr., and Elijah Baca. Her brothers; Joe Raymond Turrietta and Jamie Turrietta. Her sisters; Peggy Leyba and Rosemary Armijo. Along with numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins!
