Socorro’s Ayden Lewis placed first in the pole vault with a distance of 10 feet during the Class 3A State Track and Field
Championships at the UNM Track and Field Complex on Saturday.

On Saturday, members of the Socorro Warrior track and field teams competed in the 3A state championships. The boys tied for fourth place with Dexter High School with 29 points and the girls also placed fourth, but with 47.50 points.

Ayden Lewis placed first in the pole vault with a distance of 10-00 and Marysa Ocampo took first in the discus with a distance of 100-03.
