Editor: I am a Vietnam disabled veteran and on February 16th I went to the V.A. Hospital in Albuquerque to receive my second COVID-19 vaccine.
There was a glitch and after waiting in a long line in my car I was told that the vaccine clinic was canceled! So I went into the hospital.

The information people were very helpful. I was directed to my doctor’s office to possibly get the vaccine there. When telling the receptionist what happened after driving from Socorro and being told the clinic was canceled, well, two or three nurses and receptionists heard me and jumped in to help me.

They redirected me to another line and I got my second shot! I salute everyone working at the VA and the volunteers administering the vaccine.
