Against East Mountain, Josh Reyes scored Socorro’s first goal of the match with a shot from outside of the penalty box to the right side of the net. To put the Warriors ahead 2–0, Braden Mounyo’s shot from close range on the left side of the field was netted on the right side.

Hezekiah Oxford scored the only goal of the second half via a penalty shot after Reyes was fouled in the box.

The Warriors went on to defeat St. Michaels 4–1 in Santa Fe on Tuesday.

Socorro will host New Mexico Military Institute and Hot Springs on Saturday, March 20 at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
