ALBUQUERQUE—The future is bright for Alamo Navajo’s track and field team as a youthful squad got some valuable experience at the Class A state track and field meet on May 5-6.

Zachariah Apachito came away with Alamo’s lone top-ten finish when he took eight in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.73.
