Frank Torres Jr

1943-2023

Frank Torres Jr, age 80, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on June 6, 2023 surrounded by his wife, Corene, and family, after many years of illness.

Frank was born on March 8, 1943 in El Paso, Texas to Frank Torres Sr and Crescencia Gonzales Torres. He was the third of six children.

Frank spent 16-plus years in the Army National Guard. He worked doing Auto Body for several years before retiring.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr and Crescencia Torres, brother Manuel Torres, and sister Margaret Torres.

He is survived by his loving wife, Corene Torres, who cared for him throughout his illness. Sisters Marian Torres and Jackie Marquez, brother Michael Torres, brother-in-law Felix Torres, and sister-in-law Jean Torres. His children Joseph Torres and wife Merlinda, Darlene Wilkinson, Arlene Rosas, and Kenny Torres. His six stepchildren Tony Lucero and wife Cathy, Leonard Lucero and Robin, Bella Torres and husband Pete, Sinfea Allala and husband Mark, Noleen Denton and husband Wayne, and Angel Lance and husband Diego. Thirty-two grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Frank lived a good life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services for Frank will be Thursday, June 15, 2023 at San Miguel Catholic Church. Rosary at 9:30 a.m.; Mass at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at San Miguel Cemetary.
