Ordinance

Notice is hereby given of the title and of a general summary of the subject matter contained in an Ordinance duly adopted and approved by the City Council of the City of Socorro, New Mexico, on April 19, 2021. A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection during the normal and regular business hours of the City Clerk, 111 School of Mines Road, NW, Socorro, New Mexico.

The title of the Ordinance is:

RELATING TO A BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE/LOAN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOCORRO, NEW MEXICO AND THE RURAL COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE CORPORATION RELATED TO IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY’S WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM; FURTHER AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 19-08-05 ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2019 TO AMEND AND INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED PAR AMOUNT OF THE BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE/LOAN AGREEMENT BY THE AMOUNT OF $1,474,000 FOR A TOTAL PAR AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $6,424,000; AND RATIFYING CERTAIN ACTIONS HERETOFORE TAKEN.
