Socorro’s parents put their faith in Tiny Teeth Children’s Dentistry, and Dr. Michael Cito, D.D.S., and his team are this year’s El Defensor Chieftain Readers’ Choice for Best Dentist.

As Tiny Teeth enters its second decade in Socorro, Dr. Cito is transitioning Tiny Teeth as he takes over from his father, Stephen, who recently announced his retirement from practice.

“I truly enjoy working in Socorro and absolutely enjoy our patients and their families, and they have become family to us,” Cito said. “I’m thrilled to learn of our choice as the best dentist, and I want everyone to know it’s because of the team we have here. We have some amazing patients, and it’s an honor to be chosen.”

The Tiny Teeth team includes dental assistants Tristan Bernal, Chanel Mata, Ericka Hernandez and Cecily Esquivel.

With his taking over complete oversight of his practice in Albuquerque and Socorro, Dr. Cito is evaluating ways to serve his patients better.

Part of that is having orthodontist Dr. Jason Klinger with Rio Grande Orthodontics come to town to meet the dental needs of children and adults.

One way Dr. Cito has set himself apart is his certification in meeting the requirements of special needs children. He treats those with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, cardiac surgery diseases and other complex medical conditions.

Other exciting “21st-century” changes will include the installation of overhead televisions for patients to help children enjoy their dental experiences.

Tiny Teeth Children’s Dentistry is located at 828 U.S. 60 Socorro, and you can learn more about the EDC’s Reader’s Choice for Best Dentist at tinyteethchildrensdentist.com.
