Ernestine Florinda “Linda” Paez

1945 – 2020

Ernestine Florinda “Linda” Paez, age 75, a resident of Magdalena, NM, passed away on December 23, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her infant son; her parents, Lowell and Mayme Yazzie; her four sisters, Florence, Esther, Wilma, and Alfreda, and many nephews.

Ernestine is survived by her husband of 54-years, Joe A. Paez of Magdalena, NM; her two sons, Chris Paez and Bernadette Munoz of Magdalena, NM, James and Lee Paez of Isleta, NM; her grandchildren, Alejandra, Alec, Arianna, Anisa, Adan, Ashley, Alex; 2 great-grandchildren, Alian and Acen; her older brother, Edwin Yazzie of Magdalena, NM: many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and great nieces and many cousins.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Grave side service and internment will be on January 9, 2021 at the Magdalena Cemetery in Magdalena, New Mexico at 12:00 PM.

Pallbearers: Chris Paez, James Paez, Alec Paez, Von Apachito, Kevin Bond, Johnny Paez. Honorary Pallbearers: Adan Paez, Bob Tenequer.
