Village of Magdalena (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Helicopter Parking Area, Access Road, and Future Hangar Grading
VOM IFB 24-01
NMDOT – Aviation Division Grant No. N29-24-02

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Village Hall located at 108 N. Main St., Magdalena, New Mexico 87825, until Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids should be addressed to:

The Project includes the following Work:

Construct concrete helicopter parking area at the north runway end, construct access road and grade future aircraft hangar area.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Bidding documents, plans, specifications, drawings etc. may be obtained by inspection utilizing BHI Tracker. Printed copies including incomplete or partial sets will not be issued.
To obtain access:

1. Go to http://www.bhinc.com
2. Click BHI Tracker on the menu, upper right corner
3. Click on ‘Bids’
4. Choose a project from the project listing by clicking on it
5. Create a login, and follow the prompts to access Bidding
6. Indicate how you wish to participate
7. Click the ‘Contract Documents’ tab to download or view the plans and specifications

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, if obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents from BHI Tracker. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Magdalena Airport, on the south side of US 60, 3 miles west of North Main Street, at the pilot’s lounge. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
