Mildred Eileen Wilkinson passed away at the age of 83 on February 14, 2024, at home with family surrounded by her side.

Eileen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Della May McGuire, sister Margaret Riggs and granddaughter Amy Vigil.

She is survived by her younger twin brothers. Ronald McGuire and wife Mary and Robert McGuire. Her loving husband Clinton Wilkinson of 64 years whom she married on October 24, 1959. Her children, Donna Gonzales and husband Morris, Sherri Wilkinson and Brian Wilkinson; seven Grandchildren Michael Gonzales, Tracy Skaggs, Kevin Vigil, Garrett Wilkinson and wife Ashley, Shamry Wilkinson and Angel Giron, Logan Wilkinson and Tori Griego. Seventeen great-grand children Myranda Morningstar and husband Isiah, Nolan, Aidan and Jazmyn Gonzales, Bailey, Brynlee, Bellami, Brandy and Bonnie Staggs. Andrew Garcia and Sabrina, Joshua Vigil, Tyler, Adelyn and Kyla Marcum. Alejandro and Azariah Giron and Brinley Wilkinson. Great-great-granddaughter Alayah Marcum Baca.

Eileen was born in Sayre ,Oklahoma on September 25, 1940. She moved as a young girl to Arrey, New Mexico and attended school in Truth or Consequences where she graduated in 1959. She was a stay- at-home mom but also worked at Fox Photo and as a nurse’s aide at Socorro General Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Socorro Church of Christ 1001 El Camino Real.
