The Lady Cougars of Alamo Navajo are headed to the state volleyball tournament after finishing the regular season with a perfect District 3 1A slate at 8-0 and 16-5 overall. Alamo has won 14 straight matches and is ranked No. 11 in the New Mexico Coaches poll and MaxPreps.

Alamo will face off against No. 6 Logan on Nov. 10 at Rio Ranch High School. Logan is 15-7 on the year and 8-2 in District 6 play. Logan’s two losses came against No. 1 and undefeated (23-0) Melrose.

The first serve is set for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. The winner of the match advances to face No. 3 Animas (first-round bye) at 6:30 p.m.
