Mona Liza Tenorio

Mona Liza Tenorio, 64, of San Antonio passed away on Nov. 28, 2020.

She was born to parents Ruth Aragon and Robert Baca on April 17, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She graduated from Magdalena High School in 1974. After a career with MCI Telecommunications, she went on to study nursing at Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute and graduated with Associate of Science.

Mona worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years. After 10 years of service, she retired from Presbyterian Hospital in 2014. Along with her passion of helping people (especially the elderly), Mona enjoyed travelling, going to concerts, margaritas!, listening to music, shopping and being mom and Mima.

Mona met Steve Tenorio in 1964. They were married on 10 December 1982 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they raised 5 children and 1 grandchild: Jeneya Pouges, Crystall Herrera, Anesha Gonzales, Jude Tenorio, Kurtus Tenorio, and granddaugh – ter Ayzia Guerro. Mona is survived by Robert Baca, father, Steve Tenorio, hus – band, Jeneya Pouges, daughter, Crystall Herrera, daughter, Anesha Gonzales, daughter, Jude Tenorio, son, Kurtus Tenorio, son, Grand Children: Brandon, Ayzia, Marissa, Jeremiah, Isabella, Jazmyn, Nizhoni, Destiny, Amaris, Carina, Quentin, Bastion, Christopher. Siblings: Lemual Baca, Sandra Baca, Cheryl Lucero, Karen Godinez, Brian Baca, Andre Baca and many of their spouses and children.

She was preceded in death by Ruth Baca, mother, Billy Godinez, brother-inlaw, Josslyn Baca, niece, Jerome Baca, nephew, Julius Pouges, grandson.

The family has entrusted Noblin Funeral Services with the arrangements. A funeral is scheduled for December 11, 2020 at the Legacy Church East Campus. A reception will follow at the east campus gym after the service. Pastor Rocky will officiate the ceremony.
