SHS 19 Hot Springs 0
Jisela Estrada’s inside-the-park home run scored three runs. The shot highlighted a 15-run first inning for the Lady Warriors as righty Abrianne Romeo tossed a one-hitter against the Lady Tigers.
With enough runs for a mercy ruling after the first inning, the Lady Warriors padded their lead with four additional runs in the second inning.
Lilliana Maldonado led Socorro at the plate, going 3-3. Tatjana Castillo was 2-2. Socorro also got a pair of hits from Jazmine Alvarado and one each from Estrada, Tatjana Acosta, and Tristen Garcia.

SHS 21 Hot Springs 2
Socorro got its second inside-the-park homer when Castillo hit a deep shot to the fence, using her speed to round the bases and score two runs. Much like in game one, the Lady Warriors took control from the start and used patience at the plate for a 14-run first inning.
Socorro drew 22 walks in just three innings of play as Castillo had a pair of hits for three RBI, Estrada had two and Garcia had one.
Romero got on base four times via free passes, and Emily Ruiz, Maldonado, and Estrada drew three walks each.
Despite just five hits, the Lady Warriors generated nine RBIs as a team. Castillo and Estrada had three each, Gracia had two and Acosta had one.
Socorro returns home for action on May 1 against Cobre in a 5 p.m. game. The Lady Warriors play their final game (Senior Night) on May 8 in a 6 p.m. contest against Hatch Valley.
