Senior Braden Mounyo just keeps rewriting the Socorro High School record books as he took down a 53-year-old 110-meter hurdle record set by Daryll Saulsberry in 1971 today at the Dave Mathieu Invitational.

Running against a stiff head’/side wind, Mounyo motored his way past Saulsberry’s record time of 14.43 with a 14.39 clocking.

It’s Mounyo’s second school record of the season after he took down Terry Rother’s 26-year-old 300-meter hurdles record (39.43) when he ran a 39.13 at the 84th Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational in Arizona at the end of last month.
