Victoria Lubenau

1968-2021

Victoria “Vicky” Anne Lubenau (Baca), 53, of Alamogordo, New Mexico passed away on October 21, 2021, in Midland, Texas.

Vicky was born on October 11, 1968, to Harold and Martha Baca in Socorro, New Mexico. After graduating high school, she moved to Alamogordo, married Bill Lubenau, and went on to have two sons, Thomas and William, with whom they enjoyed all things outdoors.

Most weekends Vicky and her family could be found at the lake, camping, fishing, or on an exciting hunting trip. She helped her husband operate a successful construction business for 19 years until Bill’s passing in 2010. Upon his death, Vicky went on to work for the Bob Doughty law firm and found joy in traveling. Her favorite trips were to Mount Rushmore with her late aunt, Alice June Baca-Baxter, and her journey to Israel where she was beautifully baptized in the Jordan River.

Vicky is survived by her sons, Thomas of Houston, TX, and William of Moscow, Idaho, who she was extremely proud of, her parents Harold and Martha, two sisters, Rebecca and Kate, brother, Shane, aunt, Bertha Blair, and several other caring relatives and close friends.

Vicky is now at peace, joining her loving husband, Bill, Auntie Alice, and nephew Kyle Baca in heaven.

She will be cremated and laid to rest aside her Grandpa Ed H. Baca and Auntie Alice at the family cemetery in Escondida, NM.
