I would like to thank Mike and Gloria Appel, Tristan and Rick Pichardo and the Chavez family for creating the Rumaldo Chavez Christmas Lighting Contest.

Rumaldo Chavez was very proud of our wonderful Socorro community and in celebration of his life.

Appel and Pichardo families are already making plans to improve next year’s lighting contest.
