The Steers Stampede basketball tournament gets underway on Thursday, with the event’s first game being a highlight matchup between host Magdalena’s boys taking on Alamo in a 1 p.m. tipoff.

The tournament features boys and girls brackets with contests on Thursday and Friday with consolation and championship games on Saturday.
