For the last couple of weeks, a young Socorro Lady Warriors softball team has been on the verge of breaking through and they did it in a big way against Hatch Valley. In Saturday’s doubleheader, Socorro won 23-10 and 24-20, and got a little revenge for a 16-12 tournament loss against the Lady Bears.

The wins were all the more special because it was senior day for shortstop Felicity Otero.
