Karen S. Farr
1934 – 2023

Karen S. Farr was born on January 1, 1934, in Bemidji, Minn. She rode at home on the Farr Cattle Company Ranch on October 29, 2023.

Memorial Service will be on December 2, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Datil Community Center 14 Rodeo Dr. Datil, New Mexico.

Karen lived a long and full life and was still forking horseback at 86. She was honest, hard-working, caring and kind. She was an exceptional horseman, artist, photographer and all-around amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

All who knew her were better for it.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Farr.

Survivors include her sister, Nancy, and family; her son, Roy and his wife Elena; her daughter Amy Williams and her husband, Mickey; and grandchildren, Dana Edwards and her husband, Henry, Sam Farr, Hannah William, Hank Williams, and Avalynne Edwards.
