The district spelling bee has student participation from all elementary schools in the district which are Parkview, Midway, San Antonio, and Cottonwood Valley. There were 30 participants on bee day. The winners are as follows:

First Place – Miguel Lopez San Antonio Elementary
Second Place – Lexiana Alvarado Midway Elementary
Third Place – Derek Wolf Cottonwood Valley Charter School

Last event is the District Kindergarten Spelling Bee which will be at 9 a.m., May 7, at Sarracino Middle School in Socorro.
