March 12, was the deadline for candidates filing for the primary election in June.
On the June ballot will be elections for district attorney, state representative, county clerk, county treasurer, and county commissioner seats.
Running unopposed are republicans, Gail “Missy” Armstrong, state representative, in district 49, and Clint Welborn, for district attorney in the 7th judicial district. County clerk and county commissioner district two are also running unopposed.
