Alan Ray Bell, 70, of Ft. Sumner NM passed away Peacefully on October 18, 2023, in Albuquerque NM, Surrounded by his family.

Alan was a man of great faith and spent the majority of his retirement as the Pastor of the Pie Town Baptist Church. He was devoted to his congregation and found immense joy in guiding them Spiritually.

Alan’s love for woodworking was evident in his time spent in his workshop, where he crafted beautiful pieces. He also enjoyed taking his grandkids fishing, hiking and shooting bows and arrows. Alan loved traveling with his wife Nancy. Alan had a kind heart and always found fulfillment in helping others.

He is preceded in death by his father Albert Eugene Bell and his mother Lenis Louise Bell.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Bell and her son David Garver, his 4 children Kelly Bell (Joseph Cordova), Melissa Gutierrez (Tim Gutierrez), Amanda Bell ( Jackson Cerkleski), and Mark Bell. His grandchildren Matthew Deeds, Deyon Martinez, Izabella Gutierrez, Mia Gutierrez, Nova Cordova and Ayla Cordova.

A public memorial service will be held on November 2, 2023, at 11:00 at the Pie Town Baptist Church in Pie Town NM. Contribution in Alan’s memory can be made to The Pie Town Baptist Church, P.O. Box 732, Pie Town, NM 87827.
